Praise God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit!
Awhile back I went to Christ the King for several Holy Moves. One of the very last moves ended with me walking out of choir practice into the parking lot and seeing one car there. Just one. The license plate said EMH. To me and God EMH is Eric Matthew Henry.
Rewind to the very first appearance made there and it was their Festival. I pulled up right into a parking place with a car in front of me that said TJ in the license plate and a car next to it that said Bro in the license plate. For those of you that don’t know, Tj is my older brother. I am a middle child in between 2 brothers.
Fast forward to tonight and as I pull up to Hope Ministries to eat dinner with over a 100 people from the community there was 1 car as I parked. Lo and behold the license plate said EMH. Bliss.
As I walk in the warming room to wait with all of the other people there needing a free warm meal, who do I see, but my homeless friend Sean.
Not too long ago I found him at the library and gave him a Blessing Bag from St. Terese of Lisieux. I spent time waiting with him and God is sending me on some other links to help him.
Matthew 6:33
New King James Version
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
All things are now balanced. Not only will I be able to eat with the homeless and those in need everyday at 6:30 P.M. but I too will be fed food in all of the ways.
Not only will I receive community that is real, unspoken of and casted out but I will be fulfilling my ministry.
Seek first the Kingdom. God is never late. He is always on time.
Hope Ministries offers a free meal to all everyday at 11:30AM and 6:30PM.
Not only do I now have food to eat to nourish my body but I now have food that nourishes my purpose within my call and Eric, my younger brother.
All is well. Now I know God will provide me a paying job because the ministry of me and Eric needed to be.
in Jesus’ name. Amen.
