Keep sitting with the poor. The poor doesn’t always mean people without money. Sometimes the poor are defined as people who lack faith in the Power of the Holy Trinity. Sometimes the poor are defined as people who don’t experience the Awe and Wonder of God’s Love. Being Rich as defined by Jesus is defined as overflowing with river of life in our entire beings. Bliss that can not be explained but is felt by others and ourselves.
This Bliss is ecstasy! It comes when we choose love instead of fear. It comes when we choose faith instead of fear.
Keep sitting with the hungry. Keep sitting with the thirsty. Each of us carry very specific gifts that change time and space. One of mine is to be the Cheerful Giver. Whenever I do – whoa, wow and oh my. As soon as I go sit, eat and give – I receive all that I need.
Today – one example is as follows:
- I went to St. Mark’s to eat. The Lord God Almighty showed me Victory while eating. Then I went to their closet and heard a man said that everything he needs comes from Heaven Above. I immediately shouted Amen in the closet. Which reminds me of the passage:
Matthew 6:6
English Standard Version
6 But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
As soon as I said Amen a woman looked over where I was in the closet that gives people free clothes at St. Mark’s and pointed out some tennis shoes. They were brand new looking and a size 8. I wear a size 9 so they didn’t work but right on the shelf next to them were the same shoes!!! They were a size 9, the size I wear! 🙂
I was able to receive 2 free shirts, free underwear, free brand new tennis shoes and a faith filled victory sewn by Heaven. All because I committed myself to Eric’s Promise, helping the homeless and walking in the following passage:
Philippians 4:13
English Standard Version
13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
So much more to share but will let the Holy Trinity show you as you venture out to help others.
God’s Providence is here for those who Trust.
in Jesus’ name. Amen.
