God has been yelling at me to share this with you and now is the time. Think about being able to only carry a backpack. Some people have carts that they stole from stores but others simply have only what they can carry.
Think about how hard it is to maintain a positive attitude as you walk around believing that no one is going to help you. The people with this mindset don’t have the strength to brush their teeth but if we bundle it up with TLC they think twice about it.
They think twice about it because it shows that someone took time to think through how they want to give to someone in need. Someone took time to think about safety over what was easy. Someone took time to think about cleanliness over what was easy. Someone took time to think about every detail concerning basic hygiene care for our lips and our teeth.
Anyone can give money, God willing they have it.
Anyone can give clothes, God willing they have it.
Anyone can give food, God willing they have it.
Anyone can give but the people who go the extra mile to think through what they are giving, how it will affect the person receiving and what exactly is needed that will keep things safe, clean and loving, is a different breed.
These thoughtful givers are rare. Take notes.
