Water. Repeatedly.
God says today that this Legacy in motion is about Produce. It’s about Farmers. It’s about our air, water and soil.
It’s all about what we eat.
While praying to God about His Vision to reignite Eric’s Promise in 2022-2023, I mentioned to Marian High School’s Mission Advancement contact, FOOD. God was yelling this word at me. It started as nudges, whispers and now has grown into a full blown personal message.
God will not allow me to do anything other than work on helping the world and our food supply, while serving the poorest in the process.
At first, another moment of clarity came with my sign for Blessed Mother Mary earlier this year. It was, “A Closer Look.”
I have been forced into poverty to walk this path of justice in food. The only way to know how it all works is to see it first hand.
You can’t change anything for the better if you just play along with the crooked ways that are known as 99% of our food pantries and community kitchens.
We start by looking at the poorest people because that’s where the rich cut the most corners.
Now we have moved into grocery stores and actual farmers.
Coupled with that are questions:
- Where does your water source come from and go that grow the fruits, the vegetables and provide for cattle?
- The next questions follow the answers provided from 1 above.
