Friendship. Listening. Needle.
When I spoke to the children of St. Joseph South Bend not too long ago the theme was Listening and Friendship. When I first walked in the door to do this after receiving their Mass I saw an old friend Noah Davey. When I was on my way to speak to Mrs. Watson of St. Vincent de Paul not too long ago I was leaving work and Noah was also at the door of this building. When I saw him yet again it was all about Our Lady of Lourdes and Social Security.
There are demons amongst us all and there are also angels. Noah owns one of my pieces I did to honor my brother Eric. It’s the scene of Eric’s death and he purchased it long long long ago. God always places people where they need to be when they need to be there. This is God’s creation not ours.
When I spoke to the children I emphasized the power of listening to God and being moved.
That’s the message. That’s what Eric did and we follow this Hand.

I heard two crippled women struggling today and they spoke of getting free items at what they thought was a St. Vincent de Paul in Southern, Indiana so I stayed. I listened.
They said that a woman inside was speaking of this so I offered to go get clarification. They were mistaken. It wasn’t a St. Vincent de Paul. It was an Episcopalian Church. I offered to help carry their food and help them see what this was all about.
It was just down the street and actually on Walnut Street. Being that Eric hit a Walnut tree my ears and eyes were on fire. Being that all of this was coming from a community meal at St. Luke Church had my soul on fire. Being that at this place the hymnal that I opened straight to the Holy Spirit has been opened for weeks. Everyone is respecting the opening. That’s unheard of until now.
We get to the church but on the way there one of the women was so strained and suffering that she thought we were going the wrong way. We were going the right way and weren’t far at all but her pain was “lying” to her. Another lesson for us to remember. Don’t let your pain give you information. Call on Jesus and he will calm you and bring you into what the truth really is. He will reassure you that you truly are going the right way even if you are in a lot of pain.
It was a free market at the church. Amazing. They even had a station where people could bring items that needed sewn. They also had a station of a handyman for anyone in need. When I inquired about the handyman a list of items were named that were fixed that day. In the list a vacuum was named off. My ears perked up. I needed a vacuum. Again, because of not signing a company policy that said we couldn’t use the word God in an email, I have been out of work for over a year and all of Hell came after me. In this I purged everything and have been learning how God provides for what we truly need. That’s what it means to follow Jesus and it goes to show how many of us really are. Everyone else at the company signed this policy. I was the only one that stood up for God. That’s the whole point of me writing you all. Open your eyes. Stand up for God.
I received a free vacuum from that journey today. I also received a royal blue utensil holder for art supplies. It said the word Wow on it. After leaving this adventure with the Holy Spirit, in driving to my next destination to help the people, literally a truck in front of me said Wow! Haha. God is wowing me. 🙂

Jesus tells us to walk in mercy, justice and humility. Humility is a tricky thing depending on who you speak to.
To me, if you know where your light comes from you’re there.
Mercy, also a tricky thing. To me, if you transcend the darkness of this world and use spiritual gifts you’re there.
Justice. Let’s talk about that. From someone who always lived in Mercy, Justice has been a learning curve for me. I was quiet about injustice for the most part. I was just an observer. Injustice is everywhere. I guess you could say that I studied it. Not anymore. God says it’s time to speak and that I am. Blowing all the whistles. This world is lost. Those who walk with the Aim need to fire all of their arrows now and that we are. Collectively. God is good.

The timing of all things is in God’s Hands, no matter what any other human eludes themselves to believe or tries to get others to believe.
Eric was cleaning out his room on Ash Wednesday and died the next day on Valentine’s Day. That is a prime example of the story that God wanted to tell and therefore has left a lasting eternal ripple of people coming together for the GREATER GOOD.
For Eric’s Promise in 2022 I needed something big for Holy Week to honor him so prayed, waited and trusted. Then God delivered a move to paint for it at the Center for the Homeless in South Bend. I painted a piano in the chapel and they commemorated it with a plaque to honor Eric.
Then, here is the kicker. Everything became connected to Ave Maria, the version sang with the piano.
Then, another kicker. The timing of the painting of the piano was tricky. Someone who was not rooted in God was trying to control the time in which I came in to paint it. She didn’t realize that I was rooted in Heaven and being propelled by Heaven to do this so it became a struggle. Didn’t need to be though. If only she saw the power of God in me and this Act of Faith. She wanted me there at a certain time and I told her, we shall see. I took it to God and this is what transpired.
I asked God – “Do I go at the time that she insisted I go in or do I go get rosaries from the Divine Mercy store first?” The answer was clear. I was moved to get rosaries in Roseland, Indiana first, missing the time slot that she preferred I be there. Since I was already “late” I proceeded to ask God another question. “God, do you want me to go get something to eat first or go paint?” The answer was clear. I was moved to The General to eat.
While there I was deep in saying the rosary and an old friend came along. I immediately gave him a hug and was nervous for I knew the power of this meeting and wanted to make sure I nailed why God had placed us together. Afterall the timing of this was rooted in Divine Mercy, Holy Week, seeking God for the answer and the power of the rosary. I proceeded to simply ask God questions and moved accordingly.
Next I found myself headed to the bathroom and as soon as I saw the friend was moved to give him a high five with my rosary touching his hand. He was immediately moved to remove the Jamaican rosary from his neck and give it to me. He proceeded to tell me about a fundraiser for Jamaica and to go ask the Host of this event if I could live paint for it. I committed to this Act of Faith with all that I was.
Then, and only then, did I go and continue to paint the piano at the Center for Homeless.
After that I responded to the call and went to see the Host of this fundraiser. Immediately asking for the person in charge, said that my friend who they knew, had sent me to request to paint for the fundraiser. While waiting for an answer Ezekiel Chapter 1 appears on their TV, mind you this was on the History channel, in a brewery. The night before, I kid you not, I was moved to read this very Chapter in the Bible for the first time in my life. It is the Vision of God from this Prophet.
Fast forward to the fundraiser. Who do I see while painting? A bunch of children proceeded to come and paint with me and I look down and see a very certain one. I recognized him from pictures but had never seen him before. It was my ex-husband’s child. Then, who do I see? My ex-husband’s other child. I had never met them before and there they were painting with me. The oldest child helped me name the painting Harmony while the other child was wearing a shirt that said Justice.
This painting was then auctioned off for the Fundraiser and the massive ripples of God’s Hand begun. This is the Power of God, timing and prayer. This is the power of me staying in alignment with moving to God and no one else. Not family. Not friends. Not anyone BUT GOD. The rosary.
This is how we are to live.
Don’t ever rush anyone for even just a minute or second as this could change their entire life. Do not put your judgment on them or make up stories about their path. This does not belong in your mouth. Life and death is in the power of the tongue. They may not be able to leave the legacy that they are left to give if you try to change anything about their connection to God. Remember that because God is watching.

Feel the need the help and don’t know how?

Think about the people on the streets who have no one to care for them.
Think about the people on the streets who feel lost.
Think about the people on the streets who don’t have the mindset to get up and walk.
Think about how simple it really all is.
We put faces on a piece of paper and call it money.
We call this paper the right to buy things.
We think that this is how we care for and balance humanity.
We cast others out because they don’t have this paper.
We let people die because they don’t have this paper.
We let them starve because they don’t have this paper.
We let people be without transportation because they don’t have this paper.
We refuse to give them medical care because they don’t have this paper.
We call them less than because they don’t have this paper.
We refuse to give them shelter because they don’t have this paper.
We refuse to clothe them because they don’t have this paper.

I am a Missionary living an ordinary yet extraordinary life. As I walk down the last steps in a town last year I see Christ is King in looking to my left and Jesus is Lord in looking to my right. The message was, “When you feel like there is no hope, Christ steps in to deliver.”
I have been in constant prayer because ever since I stepped into my position as a servant for Christ, knowingly, the whole world has sent me into the pit. It has been 12 years now. Talk about a battle. Me and God against the World. God won. This is all about the gifts God has given me with every tool in the Arts. They move reality. They conquer evil. They do the impossible.
One point being, as I venture into the next move of the Holy Trinity in what appears to be very normal I literally see Jesus is Lord as I finish it. Ha! Amazing. Mind blowing living here.
The key is doing something new.
The key is doing something rooted in the Living Word.
The key is doing something in the arts.
I started the day with walking into work and over the intercom heard a story of Elijah and how he is proof of the power of prayer. That’s literally what I heard as I go and clock in for the day. How amazing is that?!?!
I then proceeded to serve people in what again appears to be a very normal day but had Truthbumps all day when interacting with customers! Haha!! How amazing is that? God is so good. The Lord is so true, right and present. Wow. Yes. Amen. Glory be to God.
So amazing. The power of God is truly being revealed to the highest degree. What appears to be normal is God doing the impossible. Who is watching? Who is listening? I am.
